Fire Restoration Technician Level 1:  Knowledge and Skills

All knowledge and skills of Fire Restoration Technician Apprentice AND

  • Ability to run a basic structure clean with a small 2-3 person crew
  • Equipment: 
    • Ability to properly size a room for equipment in accordance to industry standards
    • Can manage electrical load distribution challenges of equipment
  • Understands basic principles of odor control
  • Solid understanding of cleaning techniques and how to apply
  • Ability to execute basic scoping of the loss and communicate information in accordance to company procedures: 
    • Tasks
    • Measurements and Quantities
    • Equipment 
    • Other
  • Basic containment:  Application and Execution
  • Can use basic power tools
